Reputation is the key to career success and how people perceive you and what people think of you is very important.
First, always have something nice to say about other people. Even if you don't like the person's project or work or you don't like interacting with that person, always have something good to say about them.
Second, try to be a team player. This means that you should sometimes volunteer to help other people.
Third, stop being negative and people who are negative are not fun to be around. If you are always the person that is negative at the office, although people may agree with you, they may not like what you are saying.
Fourth, go to lunch with other coworkers. Lunch is a very important part of your day. Finally, remember that a good reputation is built gradually, you cannot expect to do all of these things and have your coworkers suddenly become your best friends.
