If not the data recovered which got damaged from the virus scan and if the steps System Restore and/or Running a virus scan, and either (or both) have failed, then it is better t opt for the other alternative methods for data backup.
Safe mode:
Starting your computer in safe mode is always a safe method. Safe mode starts Windows with a limited set of files and drivers. Startup programs do not run in safe mode, and only the basic drivers needed to start Windows are installed. If the virus you are battling is middle-of-the-road in severity, safe mode may be a way to temporarily disable it. |

As per my knowledge, There are so many ways for recovering the data where as Video recovery is not possible. At some instances, it will work if we convert the video file to some other format but it won't be successful every time. I came across through some of the websites that they are providing free software's for recovery of these sort of files. Anyways, I am producing here one such choice and hope it might be useful for you.
